Brush off your cowboy hats and slap some polish on your boots. It’s rodeo time in Dalby!

The Dalby show grounds will be transformed into a massive array of all things country and western when the NRCA National Rodeo Finals hits town this Friday and Saturday night!
Festivities are set to kick off on Friday, Nov. 2, from 6pm til late (gates open 5pm), with live action in the rodeo arena from some of Australia’s best cowboys and cowgirls. Youngsters can join in the fun too with plenty to see and do alongside the action of the rodeo, the event will also feature pony rides, petting zoo, jumping castle and fun in the rodeo arena for the kids plus Homegrown will be performing live after the competition!

The Finals will continue Saturday night, Nov 3. with the Grand Finale performance which features the final round of rodeo competition plus Fire breathing displays, Grand Entry and Special Guest appearance by Feature Bull ‘Guns n Rose’s’ the reigning NT Bucking Bull of the Year, direct from the NT. The winner of the Open Bull ride will have the opportunity to face off with the unridden bull in what is sure to be a fantastic display of showmanship.

“The National Rodeo Finals provides a valuable platform for Associations Australia wide to showcase their competitor’s talent to their peers and the local community,” said NRCA Director Colin McTaggart. “The event will feature a line-up of the top 5 competitors from each of the participating Associations, plenty of tasty food, live music performances and children’s activities.

The National Rodeo Council of Australia has also announced the inclusion of a Cowboy Country Market which will run in conjunction with the explosive action of the National Rodeo Finals competition this year.
The Market which is set to become a regular feature on the annual rodeo calendar will be open to the general public Saturday Morning from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm and admission is FREE!
As a visitor to the market you can expect to see all things country and western from homewares, saddlery, tack, western wear, apparel, jewellery/accessories, handmade crafts, food vendors and much more. 
Don't miss out on the FREE Kids face painting from 11am-1pm Saturday! Plus there will be Pony Rides, Kids jumping Castle, Petting Zoo and Carriage Rides! 
The market is the perfect complement to the weekend of National Rodeo Finals activities!  Bring the family to sample what the Australian cowboy community has to offer.
